Celebrate the great Opera arias and the most famous classical music pieces composed by the greatest Italian composers – Verdi, Rossini, Puccini, Vivaldi, Leoncavallo, Mascagni – and enjoy the world-renowned Neapolitan songs.
Operas are often based on pre-existing work. Purcell, Rossini, and Britten are just a few examples of composers who wrote operas based on the works of Shakespeare.
Once the opera’s subject matter has been decided on, the librettist (the person who writes the text for the opera) will transform the text into poetic verse, suitable for singing.

Best Opera, best program, best quartet
The program is presented by a string quartet, “I Solisti dell’Opera Lirica di Roma”. which accompanies tenor and soprano soloists. It is an Ensemble made up of a string quartet and two voices: a Soprano and a Tenor. Each musician is a graduate of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome and has concerts and tours all over the world: unforgettable concerts with Maestro Ennio Morricone and collaborations with the Oscar awards Ritz Ortolani, Nicola Piovani, Ludovic Bource, Luis Bakalov.
Out of all the people who work on an opera, it is most often the composer who we know best. But musicians are also crucial to the staging of an Opera.
